Pool Operator Primer Online Course
$350.00 (normally $400.00). This includes the digital book, CPO manual, handouts, online primer, online webinar, and online test. Please register below by using the join me section below on this page.
After the Pool Operator Primer Online Course is completed, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate can be printed after you complete the course, and must be presented to me in order to advance to the Live Online Webinar (detailed below). Expect the Pool Operator Primer Online Course to take 8-12 hours to complete (I have had some students take twice that amount of time, so give yourself enough time to complete.)
Live Online Webinar
The Live Online Webinar will last approximately 4-6 hours with a 30 minute break, and is very similar to the second day of the in-person class if you are familiar with that. You must have a webcam and microphone. I must be able to see that you are present and I must be able to watch you take the exam. If I cannot verify that I observed you take the test, then you will not be certified, regardless of your test score!
This webinar will consist of important information including the electronic version of handouts from an in-person class, review of calculations, and review for the exam. In addition to the review of the calculations and other information that you need to know for the test, there is an emphasis on the VGB act and related safety issues that are crucial for the safety of your pool. Following the review, the exam will be available online with a voucher that becomes available after you have completed the Live Online Webinar.
During the Live Online Webinar, you will be able to ask questions either by chat or, during some periods, with your microphone.
You will NOT be allowed to register for the Online Exam without first completing the Pool Operator Primer Online Course and Live Online Webinar. With the voucher for the Online Exam that you will receive after completing the Live Online Webinar, you will have 3 hours to take the Online Exam. I must be able to watch you take the Online Exam. If I cannot verify that I observed you take the Online Exam, then you will not be certified, regardless of your test score!
You will be given your test score as soon as you finish the Online Exam.
You must always be able to see the bottom of the pool to be able to open safely
Checks must be received two weeks prior to the class date. This is the only way to ensure a spot in the class when paying with a check. All checks are to be made out to Trident Aquatics
Credit cards are accepted below when you book a class. You must pay in full at the time of the booking.
There is a group discount for three or more students.
